Moon Chae Won is back as a fairy in an upcoming tvN drama!
“Tale of Goryeong Fairy” is a romance-fantasy drama which tells the story of a 699-year-old fairy (Moon Chae Won) in the Goryeo period. Due to an unexpected event, she cannot go back to heaven after she comes down to the human world. She then marries a human but her husband dies from falling off a cliff, and as a result, she decides to wait for her husband to be reincarnated. Fast forward to modern times where she works as a simple barista. Soon, she meets someone who she thinks is her reincarnated husband. The problem? She meets another convincing man as well.
The drama is based on the popular webtoon of the same title by Dol Bae and was first published in 2017.
Other main cast members include Go Doo Shim, Yoon Hyun Min and Seo Ji Hoon.
Kim Yun Cheol, director of the famous hit “My Name Is Kim Sam Soon,” will spearhead the upcoming drama.
“Tale of Goryeong Fairy” is set to air on tvN this 2018.
