Monsta X has announced a world tour with six U.S. concert locations!
Powerhouse, an entertainment touring company, has worked many times with Kpop artists promoting overseas and organized U.S. tours for groups such as B.A.P, BTS, and B1A4. On May 4th, Powerhouse posted on their official Facebook page to thank fans for coming to their concerts recently, then promptly teased they would be announcing something special the following day.
“First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone that came to our shows in the first half of 2017…..
….Without further ado, there is a very special announcement coming tomorrow. Please stay tuned! ;)”
Followers of the page and fans who had already attended a previous concert immediately flooded the post with guesses. Would it be a new tour and who it would be if that were the case? Many groups and artists were guessed and requested, but Powerhouse only replied to one comment involving Monsta X with a “winking face” emoji.
On May 5th around 4:30pm CST, they officially released a post announcing Monsta X’s first ever solo tour called “BEAUTIFUL IN THE U.S.”! Monsta X will be kicking off the American leg on July 12th in Chicago! Five more cities will follow, including New York, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles!
Monsta X was in the United States once before as a part of the 2015 KCON concert in LA! This will be their first solo tour since their debut on May 14th, 2015.
