BIGBANG’s T.O.P Found Unconscious, Moved To ICU + Latest Updates

At 5 p.m. KST, BIGBANG‘s T.O.P was found unconscious and moved to the intensive care unit. Latest reports from YG Entertainment confirmed that he is still unconscious as a result of an overdose of his anxiety medications.

An acquaintance of T.O.P stated: “T.O.P was going through a hard time during recent events and his stress levels were very high. I hope he wakes up soon.”

This event follows T.O.P’s recent dismissal from the military due to him admitting that he smoked marijuana.

As of 6:30 p.m. KST, a few details have been clarified.

“He is currently receiving intensive care,” a source from YG said. “He usually takes (prescribed) tranquilizers but according to the police, he took more than the normal amount this time.”

Recent updates suggest that even though he is not awake yet, his body is responsive. T.O.P’s mother and others are currently at the hospital, waiting for him to wake up.

T.O.P has admitted before that he struggles with depression and anxiety and has to take tranquilizers/sedatives. It was reportedly these prescribed medications with which he overdosed.

Another report is also circulating with an unconfirmed statement from a police source, saying that his condition isn’t serious and that he didn’t overdose but just is in a deep sleep and is expected to wake up in 1-2 days. However, it’s unclear why the police would have that personal, medical information before anyone else and why they would choose to release it to the public, especially considering this is a topic under current investigation. Some fans say it is an attempt to lessen the seriousness of the situation since many netizens are already beginning to criticize the way the police department has handled the entire situation with T.O.P.

Regardless of the details, we are all extremely worried for T.O.P and hope he regains consciousness soon!
