New teaser videos have been released for the characters of the new drama “Queen For Seven Days,” a historical romance drama based on the true story of Queen Dangyeong— a queen who only sat on the throne for only seven days, making her time as queen the shortest ever during the Joseon Era.
Park Min Young plays Shin Chae Kyung, who falls in love with Crown Prince Lee Yeok (Yeon Woo Jin), who lives under the tyranny of his brother, King Yeonsangun (Lee Dong Gun).
This will be Lee Dong Gun’s first role in a historical drama sine he first entered the industry nineteen years ago. He is known for his role in projects like “Lovers In Paris’’ and “Marry Him If You Dare.” Meanwhile, this is Yeon Woo Jin first drama since “My Shy Boss.” Park Min Young is famous for her roles in “City Hunter,” “Healer,” and more.
The 20-episode drama will begin airing on May 31st on KBS at 22:00 KST every Wednesday and Thursday.
