On May 3rd at 6 p.m. KST, the YG Entertainment group dropped a new mini-album as well as a music video for the title track, “BUT YOU.”
Written by Bobby, the song offers a retro-pop sound paired with bittersweet lyrics about being jaded to romance since they are constantly longing for someone who used to be their lover.
FLASHBACK is iKON’s fourth EP and is available in nine physical versions. All members contributed to the production of all six songs with major input from Bobby writing lyrics for each song, DK composing for three songs, and Jay teaming up with both for the B-Side track, “Dragon.”
The album comes over a year after they released their digital single “Why Why Why” and over two years since they delivered their last mini-album, i DECIDE.
