WTK Review: P1Harmony, Zico, Jay B, And More Rock The Stage In Hyperound K-fest In Abu Dhabi

September 10th was a blast for all Arab fans, as well as international fans who came across the globe to attend the Hyperound K-fest in Abu Dhabi!

The festival kicked off with performance from Paul Kim, the balladeer behind the OST of K-dramas such as “Hotel de Luna” and “The King: Eternal Monarch.” He sang “Wanna Love You,” ”One More Time,” and his popular OST “Every Day, Every Moment” from the K-drama “Should We Kiss First?”.

Next in line, Peakboy got fans chilling out with ”Shame” while Paul Kim returned to stage to perform with him on their collaboration track, “How to Love.” The duo delighted fans even more due to their harmonious vocals. The hype then got even higher when Peakboy sang his popular track “Gyopo Hairstyle.”

On the other hand, R&B Soul artist Dvwn serenaded fans with his songs “Burn the Memory,” “Insomnia,” and “Lost.” He did not fail to impress the audience with his soulful voice, along with his warm and meaningful lyrics.

Afterwards, P1Harmony brought back the energy onstage with their single “Doom Du Doom,” earning many good vibes from the crowd. Following that song was another upbeat track of theirs entitled “Do It Like This,” its catchy hook part making fans addicted to the rhythm. They also sang “Scared,” “If You Call Me,” and their powerful song “Black Hole.”

Next, producer Woogie entertained fans as a DJ by mixing up tracks such as Crush‘s “OHIO”, ATEEZ‘s “Guerrilla”, Loco and Hwasa‘s “Lemon, BE’O’s “Counting Stars”, Woo‘s “Job,” and Jay Park and IU‘s “Ganadara,” The entire set was high energy and fun, making fans sing and dance to the beat.

Meanwhile, Jay B from GOT7 got the longest exposure since he poured out all his sexy swagger into his performance via tracks like “B.T.W,” “Fame,” and “AM PM.” As he promoted his new album that is coming up soon, he asked fans to listen to his new music with an open heart. Jay B is indeed very passionate with his own music and also serenaded fans with his latest single “Rocking Chair,” which showcased his warm voice and comforting lyrics.

Afterwards, Sik-K, one of the crowd’s favorites, performed famous hits like “Skip and Kiss,” “UNO GOTTA RUN,” “NEW LOVE,” ”Rendezvous,” “DARLING,” and “Iffy.” He also amazed his Arab fans as he performed “Abu Dhabi” and “Habibi” (which is an Arabic word for ”my love”). He ended his performance with “Party (Shut Down)” and his famous hit “Tell Ya.”

Thereafter, the popular band The Rose performed “I’m Sorry” as their intro song, followed by other hit singles “I Don’t Know You” and Candy (So Good).” They followed it up with “Beauty and the Beast” which made the crowd bang their heads to the beat. The fans also sang along to their track “She’s In The Rain” which showcased the band’s emotional vocals and performance. The audience then partied along with the band as they performed their fun, electric pop single “Red” where leader Woosung danced with the crowd.

It was then Loco‘s turn to perform on stage with his song “OPPA” when his mic malfunctioned. Instead, he gave the crowd some amazing dance grooves. He asked the crowd to dance for him while he recorded the song and posted it on his Instagram. He sang “Just Like This,” ”Too Much,” and “Who You.” He comforted his fans with his song “It Takes Time” and “Lemon,” while fans later got excited when “Don’t” and “No Manners” were played.

Last but not the least was Zico, an artist who extended the energetic show with his songd “FREAK” and “Artist” respectively. The party continued with his tracks like “Okey Dokey,” ‘Eureka,” “Boys and Girls.” The event ended with an awesome performance of his popular track “Any Song.”
