SNSD’s YoonA Discusses Girls’ Generation and SONE In New Photoshoot With Dazed Korea

Girls’ Generation member and actress YoonA is Dazed Korea’s cover girl for September! In the recently released photos and interview, YoonA expressed her feelings about Miu Miu and gave off various looks from their new collection throughout the shoot.

The jewelry line, in particular, is a collaboration with Swedish artists Natalie Djuberg and Hans Berg. It was the focus of the look and YoonA said, “I think I interpreted the cute and colorful emotions in a ‘Miu Miu’ way. I think it will be an accent for any look. My first impression was it was flashy, but it was cute when I tried it on. I like the earrings the most.”

Mentioning Girls’ Generation, she said, “It’s been five years since we got together to practice. It feels unfamiliar but also familiar. It’s been a long time since we met, but the friendliness and familiarity of Girls’ Generation remained the same.”

YoonA showed her affection for their fandom SONE, picking the second track “Lucky Like That” as her favorite of the ten songs on the new album. She said, “It’s the first song I recorded in this album. I was the last one to record. You know when you listen to the parts that the members recorded first and you get emotional? The lyrics of the song starts like this, ‘As if the wishes (SONE) you’ve waited for all came true today.’ How will SONE feel when they hear this? That’s what I wanted to say to SONE.”

Meanwhile, more pictorials and interviews of YoonA wearing Miu Miu can be found in the September issue of Dazed as well as on their social media channels!
