RIIZE has been selected as the newest RADAR KOREA artist, making them the first K-pop group to join the line-up of artists under this brand!
RADAR is a global music program under Spotify that supports rising artists to carve paths into the worldwide music scene, connect them to their devoted fans, and introduce them to a new, broader audience.
Spotify’s Head of Music (South Korea), Jungjoo Park, has shared his thoughts on RIIZE becoming the newest member of their campaign:
“The RADAR KOREA program bolsters Spotify’s dedication to helping music travel the globe and connecting Korean artists with fans and new audiences at every stage of their journeys. With their incredible talent, RIIZE as rookies have shown how they’re a force to be reckoned with. So we’re thrilled to welcome them aboard as a RADAR KOREA artist and look forward to introducing their unique sounds to more listeners worldwide.”
As part of their special program, RIIZE will be featured in content on the RADAR KOREA playlist clips and on the Spotify and K-Pop ON! Spotify YouTube channels. The group will also get Spotify’s best-in-class editorial, on-platform, and out-of-home marketing support.
RIIZE’s debut made waves in September 2023 with “Get A Guitar” racking up numbers on both video and music streaming platforms. They went on to release follow-up tracks such as “Talk Saxy,” “Love 119,” and “Impossible” which enticed listeners with their unique sound and intriguing choreographies.
As of April 2024, RIIZE has accumulated roughly four million listeners and over six hundred thousand followers on Spotify. The group has amassed massive streaming numbers from Indonesia, Japan, the United States, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Brazil, and Mexico.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcast locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
