Eunyu, leader of the girl group BADKIZ, has released her first mixtape “Lie Night”!
This R&B trap song is Eunyu’s first self-composed song to be released. The singer and rapper solely created the melody and lyrics and recorded the track, as well as filmed and edited the music video (complete with English subtitles).
As stated in the video description, Eunyu did everything herself “except the beat” which was produced by D.pler of D.plerBeats, who works with many up-and-coming indie and hip-hop artists in Korea.
Eunyu’s stellar vocal power is displayed on the song and her charisma is prominent in the music video. Meanwhile, the visual aesthetic perfectly captures the mood and vibe of the track. At just under two minutes in length, it ends too soon and will definitely leave you wanting more. Hopefully, this is simply a taste of more to come!
BADKIZ originally debuted in 2014. After a 19 member line-up change and a new company, they re-debuted as HOT PLACE in 2019. They went on to change their name back to BADKIZ this year, however, and now have four members. Eunyu is the currently the longest serving member of the group.
