Super Junior‘s Leeteuk and Yesung are soon to host a new variety show in Japan!
The news was revealed on May 20th KST, making fans excited to see what the duo has in store for their new hosting job together. Although Leeteuk is famous for his hosting gigs in Korea, it’s been a while since fans have been treated to seeing Yesung as the host of a show! Due to his popularity in Japan, as well as that of Leeteuk and Super Junior overall, the group’s fandom known as E.L.F are already looking forward to the show.
Entitled “Super Junior’s IDOL vs. IDOL,” the show says it will be full of gorgeous idols each week who will split into two teams and compete in categories of intellect, physical strength, charm, and social skills.
The show will begin airing on July 16th at 10:30 and will air every Thursday on KNTV. This marks Super Junior’s first-ever regular show to be aired in Japan, proving their long-lasting popularity as a K-pop group both in Korea and abroad.
In the meantime, it was also announced that Super Junior-K.R.Y. will be the first guests of another new variety show in Japan entitled “Power of K SOUL LIVE.” Click here to read about this new show as well!
