Welcome to the next K-Beauty review here on WTK as we talk about the Take It Easy: Calming Calamine Clay Mask from I Dew Care!
When it comes to clay masks, calamine is a must for me! My skin is often red due to sun exposure, and I have sensitive skin as well. Imagine my sadness when the Memebox brand Bonvivant no longer made their masks. Well, to my joy, this beautiful gem featured in our review today was created, making a great replacement! The I Dew Care brand really begin to take off from the beginning, selling out many of the other products in the line shortly after its launch. If you are doing the 10 Step Skincare Routine, this mask, called the “Take It Easy: Calming Calamine Clay Mask,” can replace the sheet mask in step seven.
To use this product, be sure to use liberally. Being conservative on product will do you no good with this because you need full coverage. It takes about 15-20 minutes to set, so I suggest washing in cool water instead of warm to help close your pores and allow the mask’s wonders to really set in completely. During the waiting process, your face will feel tight, but it won’t crack like other masks often do. You are still able to eat, drink, and more while you wait.
Once I washed off the mask, the redness on my skin had noticeably faded. I felt no more irritation, and my skin was dewy soft as well. What I also really loved was how it was safe to put around the eye area!
My only qualm? The price. Retailing at $19.00, you don’t get enough product for your buck. So far, I have used it twice and am nearly half-way done. A few of the other mud masks from the I Dew Care brand are a few dollars cheaper and focus on other needs, so feel free to check those out as well. Some of those products include the “Hang Tight: Tightening Tee Tree Clay Mask,” the “Berry Bubbly: Purifying Bubbling Berry Clay Mask,” and more.
I give this product four out of five stars! It’s a great product that makes me feel soft and doesn’t leave my skin feeling irritated, but the price was a bit of a stretch for my wallet. However, even at that price, I’d definitely buy it again!
