Welcome to another WTK review by Min! I am here to bring you the best Korean beauty products to get you ready for your future “Oppa” (haha). Today, I will be reviewing the “Jeju Volcanic Lava Aloe Nose Strip” by THE FACE SHOP (stylized as THEFACESHOP).
I have heard that the Jeju Volcanic Lava products from THE FACE SHOP are really good to get ride of blackheads and whiteheads, but I have to admit that I wasn’t too sure that these nose strips would actually work. Sometimes products just seem a little too good to be true!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
THE FACE SHOP actually has two different types of blackhead removing nose strips in their Jeju Volcanic Lava line. I managed to get the one with aloe vera. The other one available is charcoal. Overall, the aloe vera product seemed to be recommended more and was supposed to be less harsh on the skin. The product was $6.24 at The Face Shop and came in a package with seven nose strips.
This is what you need to do before you put the product on:
- Wash your face before applying.
- Be careful when applying if you have sensitive skin.
- Be aware that the product may cause skin to peel or cause redness.
When applying the strip, make sure your nose is wet. Adjust the strip to fit properly on your nose and wait 15 minutes. Once the sheet is on your nose, it will begin to harden. It may sting a little or begin to itch. If you feel something similar, it just means the strip is working properly for most people. Trust me! You guys and girls may begin to feel a bit uncomfortable during this step. but no one said being beautiful was easy!
After 15 minutes, you can take it off . You can count to three and then strip it off quickly like a band-aid, or you can take it off slowly. Either way, you will be able to see those blackheads/whiteheads come out. Your nose might be a little red, but if you apply aloe vera cream, it will also help with any dryness you may feel as a result of the nose strip.
This product is pretty good for a one-time use. I would give it 7 out 10 stars because my nose definitely looked cleaner and felt better in the end. I do have to admit that it caused dryness and redness, but I felt better after putting some aloe vera cream (even though it caused some tingling at first).
Overall, I enjoyed the product and would definitely buy it again. I am happy to recommend this product to those who need help getting rid of those stubborn blackheads and cleaning out your pores for more flawless-looking skin!
Have you tried this product before? Did it work for you? Is there another blackhead product you like better? Let me know in the comment section below!
