After releasing a special cover and MV of Michael Jackson’s classic hit “Man in the Mirror” earlier today, SMTOWN has announced they will be co-hosting a concert with YouTube in honor of the artist and the influential track.
The special concert will be held on January 20th at noon KST and will be live streamed to audiences around the world via SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel here. The song will feature Siedah Garrett— the Grammy Award-winning co-composer of the song, Quincy Jones— the original producer of the track, Myron McKinley, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson of the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire, and many more.
The label also revealed that the cover of “Man in the Mirror” that was released earlier today by Ms. Garrett and BoA was actually recorded in the Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles, where Michael Jackson originally recorded the track.
