Red Velvet‘s Joy and actor Woo Do Hwan are teaming up for a new drama.
On December 28th KST, it was confirmed that Joy and Woo Do Hwan have been casted as the leads for new MBC drama “Love Game.” Based on French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” the drama will tell the story of a dangerous and seductive romance between a twenty-something-year-old man and woman.
Woo Do Hwan will portray the character of Kwon Si Hyun, a twenty-something “homme fatale” who seduces the female lead, Eun Tae Hee, portrayed by Joy.
Eun Tae Hee is a 20-year-old girl who believes being swayed by love is the most pathetic thing in the world. After meeting Si Hyun she realizes she thought too lightly of love and falls into a state of confusion.
The production staff stated, “We are delighted and excited to be able to cast “2017’s super rookie” Woo Do Hwan and Joy. We are ready to show you the never-before-seen charms of Woo Do Hwan and Joy. We will bring you an exciting young love story, so please look forward to it.”
In addition to Joy and Woo Do Hwan, actress Moon Ga Young is reportedly joining the drama as well.
“Love Game” is scheduled to be begin airing during the first half of 2018.
