NCT 127 Drops First Set Of Individual Teaser Pictures For “Cherry Bomb”

NCT 127 is gearing up for their comeback and have finally dropped the first few teasers!

Following rumors that NCT 127 was secretly filming their new music video, SM Entertainment took to social media to drop the first teaser photo. The picture was a collection of cherries flying from what looked to be a large explosion and clouds of smoke. It was also revealed the new album would be called NCT # 127 CHERRY BOMB.

On June 7th KST, there were nine teaser photos released and included three different pictures for three members. While one photo concept seems to be simple enough, the second is brightly-colored and almost cartoon-like, while the final concept looks almost like a movie poster with similar icons and cartoons. Members Taeyong, Doyoung, and WinWin are the three members released so far.

Along with the pictures, three short videos were released on the official NCT 127 Instagram with each of the three members’ pixellated characters dancing with cherry bomb hats on. Fans have speculated the various moves each member is doing will be part of the choreography in the new music video.

This will be the first comeback from an NCT unit since NCT Dream released their single album The First back in February. NCT Dream was also the first NCT unit so far to win on a music show with the song “My First and Last” on SBS’s The Show.

NCT # 127 CHERRY BOMB is the unit’s third mini-album and is set to release on June 14th! Stay tuned for more teaser pictures!
