It’s official— actor Lee Min Ho has enlisted in the military!
On May 12th KST, the famous Hallyu star reported for duty as he begins his mandatory military service. He is serving as a public service officer. Although he started his service today, he will later attend a special training camp for four weeks. After that, he will continue serving as a public service officer at the Gangnam District Office.
The actor shot to stardom in the hit Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers” in 2009, leading to a hugely successful career as an actor in both television and film. Since then, he has also gone on to become an in-demand model and even a singer as well. After serious car accidents several years ago, he was unable to qualify for active duty service in the military, leading the actor to fulfill his mandatory military service as a public service officer instead.
