During KCON Mexico on March 17th, A.R.M.Ys were chanting, “BTS” before NCT 127 was about perform their last song.
The predicament during the concert portion of the festival occurred when fans were chanting “BTS” before the performance of “LIMITLESS,” making them appear very disrespectful toward NCT 127 and their fans, and has been topping discussions as of late.
BTS fans clarified that their reason for chanting “BTS” was because they assumed that NCT 127 was about to end a song, and that it was then time for all artists to come out to say their final goodbyes to the audience. Fans elaborated that NCT 127 was saying goodbye, but also that they could not fully grasp the meaning of their words as they were bidding their farewells, given that fans could only understand the Spanish and English bits that could be heard.
A.R.M.Ys also mentioned they were overly excited to see BTS and were surprised to find out that they were the first group to perform instead of the last, making them more eager to see them after interpreting NCT 127’s 2nd to last song as their final performance.
All in all, BTS fans were awfully sorry toward NCT 127 and their fans for their chants and for stirring anger between the fandoms.
Do you think NCT 127 fans should forgive A.R.M.Y for this mistake? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
