Forbes Magazine, the New York business and financial publication, has revealed their annual list of highest-earning international celebrities under the age of thirty. BIGBANG came in at place number 13, breaking into the exclusive Top 15.
Other celebrities that came in the Top 15 on the list included A-list stars like Taylor Swift, One Direction, Justin Beiber, and Rihanna.
The YG Entertainment idol group earned over 44 million USD in the past year, making them earn more profits than other major celebrities on the list like Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Usain Bolt.
In addition, it was announced earlier this year that the mega-famous boy band also placed on Forbes’ list of Top 100 highest-earning celebrities worldwide (regardless of age). They became the first Kpop group to ever place on the Top 100 celebrities list, even beating out American pop group Maroon 5 in question of annual earnings.
BIGBANG already slays the hearts of Kpop fans worldwide, but they are beginning to leave their mark on the rest of the world in major ways as well.
Congratulations to BIGBANG on their great success. Check out one of their most popular videos below, an MV which has racked up almost 187 million views on YouTube alone, “BANG BANG BANG.”
